SIX PLAYERS ARRIVE SUPER EAGLES CAMP AHEAD OF MADAGASCAR CLASH.
Six players have arrived in the Super Eagles camp in Uyo as Nigeria step up preparations for Friday’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi and goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo were among the latest arrivals to Éric Chelle’s 24-man squad.
Their arrival further strengthens the Super Eagles ahead of the Group L opener at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
Madagascar have also arrived in Uyo, with the Barea touching down on Monday ahead of Friday’s encounter.
Nigeria will then travel to Bissau on September 29 to face Guinea-Bissau in their second qualifier.
Chelle will be without Victor Osimhen, who is sidelined with a muscle injury. Coventry City striker Taiwo Awoniyi has been called up as his replacement.
